East Bali is part of the forgotten regions. Amed is a small beach side village primarily focused on the diving community. The village doesn’t get the levels of foot traffic and visitors as South Bali.
However we need you.
We ask you to open your hearts, to help us provide care packs. The rural people of East Bali are going to be hit hard due to this pandemic. Tourism has come to a halt. Job losses are multiplying daily.
There is no social welfare. No safety net. This is a very dire situation. Families will be going without. This may even mean basics will be sacrificed.
We ask you to open your hearts and share this campaign far and wide.
The corona virus crisis has created a huge amount of suddenly unemployed people. These people need help more than ever.
Every $10aud provides a care pack for 1 family of 4 for 1 week.
This consists of
- 5KG of rice
- 6 Eggs
- Garlic
- Shallots
- Chillies
- Soap
- 350 mls of cooking oil
Any amount big or small will help us to help the local community.
These people are in very dire straits. There is no government welfare at this time, so the time for us to act is now. We can’t do this without your support. We are a team of 100% Volunteers. All funds go 100% to the cause.
Due to the Covid-19 Crisis unemployment has sky rocketed due to the collapse of most jobs.
