Where can I find a villa for team building in Bali?

Checked October 2026 · 3 sources

Short answer

For team building, base the group near Ubud for rafting on the Ayung River, cycling and cooking classes, or in Sanur and Nusa Dua for calm-water beach activities and short airport transfers. Pick a villa with a lawn and pool for group games and a covered pavilion for debriefs, and plan transport: an 18-seat Isuzu Elf with driver suits most teams.

In detail

Popular group activities include rafting on the Ayung River near Ubud, downhill cycling from the Kintamani area, Balinese cooking classes, offering-making or gamelan workshops, and paddleboarding or snorkelling in Sanur. A beach clean-up gives a team a shared cause.

A team-building villa needs outdoor space more than a big living room: a lawn for games, a pool and a shaded bale where the whole team can sit together. Check that planned activities fit the house rules, especially on music and outside guests.

Travel time shapes the programme. Ubud to the southern beaches can take one to two hours, so cluster activities near the villa. A Toyota Hiace seats 12 to 14 and an Isuzu Elf about 18; book them with a driver, by the half day or full day.

Check that activity providers carry insurance and supply safety equipment, and ask participants about their swimming ability before water activities. The April to October dry season is the most reliable for outdoor programmes.
