The easiest big waterfall from Ubud: a wide curtain into a swimmable pool, with cafés and viewpoints on the rim.

Itinerary

  1. Getting there

    By car or scooter: Ubud approx. 20–30 min · Canggu approx. 60 min · Seminyak approx. 50–60 min. Head for Kemenuh, Sukawati.

  2. Ticket & parking

    IDR 30,000 per adult. Adult 30,000, child 15,000, cash. Was 20,000 until 2025. Rim photo spots may charge extra.

  3. The walk · Moderate

    100–200 stone steps down the valley, 10–15 min each way. Tiring climb back in the heat.

  4. At the falls

    Allowed in the pool when calm. Can be restricted after heavy rain. No cliff jumping.

  5. Then

    Continue with Blangsinga Waterfall, Sumampan Waterfall, Celuk silver village.

Best time

Before 09:00 or around 16:00. Clearer water Apr–Oct.

Good to know

  • Arrive at opening, tour groups fill it by late morning.
  • Cash and grippy shoes.
  • After heavy rain the water turns brown.
