Itinerary

  1. Getting there

    Fast boat from Sanur to Nusa Penida (about 45 min), then about 1 hour by road. Head for Nusa Penida, east coast.

  2. Ticket & parking

    Free. No entrance fee. Parking about 5,000. Sarong required, rental about 15,000.

  3. The walk · Hard

    The blue staircase down the sea cliff, 700+ steps. 20–30 min down, hard climb back, 1.5–2 hours total. Exposed drops.

  4. At the falls

    Landslides in 2025 and early 2026 closed the clifftop pools; stairs, temple and views remain open.

  5. Then

    Continue with Diamond Beach, Atuh Beach, Batu Siha Beach.

Best time

Before 10:00.

Good to know

  • Ask locally whether the lower pools have reopened.
  • Hold the rail: steep and exposed.
  • Not for those afraid of heights.
