La Plancha opened in 2010 as Seminyak’s first chiringuito-style beach bar, set directly on the sand with colourful beanbags and Balinese umbrellas. There is no entry fee or dress code; beanbags at sunset usually carry an indicative minimum spend of about IDR 200k per person. Reservations are not taken at sunset (roughly 16:00–19:00), so arrive early.
