Campuhan Ridge Walk
A paved path along a grassy ridge between two jungle valleys, a few minutes from central Ubud. About 1.2 km each way (20 to 25 minutes), free. Go between 6 and 7:30am or near sunset: there is little shade. With children, you can be dropped at Karsa Kafe at the far end and walk only one way. Stairs and a bridge at the start make it hard with a stroller.
