The mount Batur sunrise trek is a must do for anyone visiting Bali. Located in the north of Bali, Mount Batur is an active volcano. Its last eruption took place in 1917, destroying some of the surrounding villages. Mount Batur peaks at 1717m (5633ft) above the sea.

During this activity you will climb the volcano during the night to reach the summit in time for sunrise. From there you will admire the sun rising over the Batur lake. On a clear day, you will even be able to see Lombok's volcano, Mount Rinjani.
After your effort you will also be able to relax in the hot springs.

Program

• 01:30 - Pick-up at your hotel and transport to the starting point around Jati Temple
• 03:30 - Arrival at starting point and start the trekking
• 05:00 - Reaching the first summit
• 06:00 - Continue our climb to the main crater summit
• 06:45 - Arrival at the summit to watch the spectacular sunrise while having breakfast
• 07:00 - Continue our trek around the entire crater
• 08:00 - Begin our descent to finish point
• 09:00 - Arrival at the trek finishing point
• 10:00 - Visit of a local coffee plantation / Coffee Luwak
• 11:00 - Shuttle back to your hotel
