Here in the Beautiful Tegallantang area, we invite you along with your family and friends to enjoy the experience of making Batik which is an Indonesian technique of wax painting dyeing applied to a piece of cloth. and most people agree that it is in Indonesia that the skill of batik making has reached the highest level of artistry.  with your imagination and creativity, you create your own batik design and make them very personal! 

Widya Harsana who owned the Batik studio will explain step by step how to make a beautiful handwriting Batik as we called “Batik Tulis” as well as combined it with stamping method, which is another way to apply wax. Once you pour all your creativity and imagination to your Batik design, the next step is to dye and choosing colors to complete the process. Unlike in many batik studio which uses chemically-based dyes, all of the dyes used in Widya’s batik studio are organic and are made from plants, flowers, vegetables, and minerals.

• The workshop normally takes 5 hours, start from 10.00 to 15.00. 
• All materials you’ll need to make Batik will be provided in the studio. 
• You can take home the finishing Batik product 
• The cost for each person is IDR 650.000
• Pick up transport also provided for Ubud area
• Lunch is not included (you can order at the studio)
